This store is awesome. They were extremely helpful and knowledgable. They know their stuff. If they don't have what your looking for, they can order it.

I've shopped here for years and it's always been hit or miss. I was in there last week and a younger kid and his friend walked in and told the young male employee that he didn't know a lot about salt water tanks, but wanted a salt water aquarium setup. Without even asking the kid what kind of salt water aquarium he wanted, this employee proceeds to load up the cart with fresh water filters, lights, a non drilled tank, etc. Basically a fresh water setup - essentially guaranteeing this customer failure in sustaining a salt water aquarium with that equipment. If the employee is so incompetent that he doesn't know what it takes to set up a sustainable salt water tank, he should have asked for help. If he does know and purposely set this kid up with a bogus setup, that's BS. Either way, I was so turned off by this employee that I'll likely never be back to that store. I used to go there and pay higher prices for their stuff vs online because I was happy to support the local fish store. But I can't support a shady/incompetent business that rips people off like that anymore.
Won't be back unfortunately. Customer service isn't great. Sold food that was expired and then only gave in store credit. I needed that money back to get food right away not wait for a new shipment to come in. I understand their policy is in store credit but if its something I didn't cause and I paid with cash the day prior there should not have been an issue. They lost a good customer over that.
I have been keeping fish as a hobby for several years now, and this is the best fish shop I've ever been to. Their fish are very well cared for and healthy, their staff are friendly and helpful and their prices are reasonable. Their staff artist know what they are talking about as well... Very knowledgeable and wonderful customer service. They definitely have my business!
